a party scene with lots of children and fake snow

LimbBo Christmas Party 2025

When the Christmas party tickets are all booked within 24 hours we know how much events like this mean to our families. The shrieks of joy when meeting up with old friends (and that’s just the grown-ups!) The wonder of watching tiny children connecting with others, the laughter at dance moves, the faces pulled in the photo booth, the snow machine, Santa with a broad Barnsley accent on his brightly lit Bapp lorry…all ‘staples’ of a LimbBo party.

Thanks to Gazza’s disco for the entertainment and photographs

Hours of preparation go into organising events like this and I’d like to say a huge thank you to the team working tirelessly behind the scenes.

High lights included:

Big Tommy having to move seats so he knew when to smile for the camera – despite the fact his facial features are permanently fixed and can’t move!

Adam (Our Chairman and Tommy’s dad) having his hair shaved … by Woody (if you are a long standing limbBo member you will know letting Woody loose with a shaver was a risk) – I don’t know who the little girl was standing with me who just kept saying ‘He’s sacrificing himself for others’ – got to love these children!

Our Merchandise stall was a great hit – thanks to Katie for all her time, effort and designs

New LimbBo hair bows – thanks to Kelsie

An ‘optional’ raffle – Marina didn’t get the memo about it being ‘optional’!

Collectors items of our first LimbBo bauble now proudly displayed on Christmas trees throughout the UK – we love our limbBo traditions.

One thing we are all agreed upon is the need to find a bigger venue for next year so we can welcome more families – work is already underway on this.

We loved seeing you all, lots of mini meets already in the pipeline for 2026, camp is booked for the end of May and Adventure Day is Thursday 6th August

Wishing you all a Happy christmas and an amazing new year lots of love from all of the trustees xx
